ONE DAY...
•••
Moms.... we all may set a schedule for ourselves for the next day. “I’m going to wake up at this time, do this for myself, get this completed by this time; maybe even get a nap in”... we all want to get tasks completed that we’ve been trying to get to for a few days...
•••
Well, I’m here to say ITS NOT THAT SIMPLE. I’m often stretching myself thin. Trying to get so many tasks done in one day. But it always feels like there's not enough hours in the day.

ONE DAY my hair and make up will be my #1 priority. ONE DAY I’ll be able to be fashionable on a daily basis. ONE DAY I’ll be able to get to the end of the day without throw up, snot, or baby food on my clothes. ONE DAY I’ll be able to consistently eat a good breakfast instead of a few of my daughters grapes while I’m cutting them. ONE DAY I wont forget my phone in the house after I’ve already put 2 small kids in the car. ONE DAY I’ll be able to sleep through the night and feel re energized when I wake up in the morning. ONE DAY I won’t be doing laundry 4 days out of the week because I can't tell whats clean or dirty because my daughter mixed everything up while I ran to the bathroom. ONE DAY dinner will be enjoyable to cook again. But that day IS NOT today😫

I’m just being honest... this mom of 2 under 2 stuff is hard! On top of being a business owner and trying to maintain a social life. I’m tired. I’m fortunate enough to have 2 close friends who also have children so they understand if they don’t hear from me or if I don’t respond in a timely manner.

I’m SO over society not wanting moms to be transparent and talk about their struggles. This makes us mothers feel like we can’t voice our imperfections. Because lets be real NONE OF US ARE PERFECT!!! We’re doing the best we can and majority of the time we forget about ourselves.

The worst part is feeling misunderstood or unappreciated. Especially when we’re trying to please everyone around us and feeling like we’re falling short. Moms are so dope! I have a bigger appreciation for my mother after becoming one myself. Especially now that I have more than 1 small kid.

KEEP DOING WHAT YOU’RE DOING MAMAS!!!! YALL ARE PHENOMENAL!!!!❤️🧡💛💚💙
