Who created Black breastfeeding week and why?
Anaya Sangodele-Ayoka, Kimberly Seals Allers and Kiddada Green founded Black breastfeeding week to promote breastfeeding and let black moms know they’re not alone.
What is Black breastfeeding week about?
The face of breastfeeding promotion was white and black women breastfeed too. It’s important to promote awareness to all moms about breastfeeding because breastfeeding is very nutritional for babies. Black breastfeeding week is about encouraging black women to keep breastfeeding, connect with other breastfeeding moms and post breastfeeding selfies to promote awareness.
